Dot Com Generation

Happy new year 2014 !

I don't particularly celebrate the new year cheerfully but I had some fun at my bestie's house. Snacking a lot, watching movies... Just like another sleepover.
Demo ne, although I don't make any resolution like any new years I've been through, I do hope many good things happen in 2014.

How many of you guys using camera application and/or edit your pics afterwards? The tech nowadays are awesome, aren't they? You can add digital make up too. I bet most of you guys are pretty familiar with camera360, picsart, or at least using filter on Instagram.
I uploaded some of selfies on Facebook and Instagram, just because I like the result of my make up that night. But there's always someone who made a comment as if they're mocking me looking pretty with the help of some camera application. Although it was a joke, it hurts pretty much. I rather have such an ego, you may say. But I know better not to shove my fist up their mouth, especially when it was brought by one of good friends of mine. Whenever someone joking about my physical appearance, I will support the critics, even worse than what they said if needed. If they have a soul they will feel bad themselves eventually.
And then, I had the idea to make an illustration about it. It's a good idea to make something out of your anger. People need to do something to channel their anger, at least, pray.
And although I use filter, camera360, or whatever it is to make my pics look good and pretty, as long as I feel satisfied and pretty, I won't even care what others say. We already live in "dot com generation", people have the common sense of what they see in internet are not all as what it seems. People have built the awareness of what they found on net. And people should understand that there's always a story behind every picture. Be wise, on or off the net.
