No, It Is Not

Before somebody misunderstood my blog, let me remind you all that this is not a fashion blog. Yes, there are outfits and accessories in every corner but i convince you that it's not a fashion blog. Perhaps by now you think that I'm confused, still I claim that I'm not. Well, you can read my blog description. See? This blog contains personal inspirations, dreams, and random stuffs. I didn't mention about "fashion" or "style", did I?
Now don't ask me which part mentioned anything about my inspirations or dreams. I have told you! Don't you know I have this great passion for outfits, apparels, and accessories?? I thought you already knew! Those inspired me to want to build my own clothing line kingdom. So, just now I told  you one of my dreams. Man, I can't believe it's so hard for you to believe...

The Town Festival

I was planning to go to an annual event in next town, Malang, with my girlfriends. The festival is all about Indonesian/local traditions and cultures, and obviously we would dressed up according to the theme. The plan itself is threatened to be canceled due to our activities and personal budget issue, but it doesn't stop me to grab a few pieces out of my wardrobe and I decided that I would wear something floral instead of traditional clothes like batik, just because i don't have a good piece of it.
For anyone who's interested to Indonesian traditions and cultures (which are very unique and attractive, if I may speak the truth), you may visit Festival Malang Kembali in Malang, East Java. I'm looking forward for a chance to tell you my own experience.

One Blue Legacy

When my mom told me about this dress, i immediately removed the shoulder pads and tried it on. I have to admit that I was pretty surprised the dress fit me well, since my mom told me it belonged to my aunt when she was young and slim while i'm a little bit curvier. It was drizzling outside, but i still set my cellphone and posed. I, for one, don't really like the pleated accent because it looks kinda weird for current trend but my mom argued that it's the best part of the dress. She and I have different tastes of outfit sense, yet I inherited her passion for fashion.

Why Don’t We Try?

I’m almost always a fearless person. But it’s something I do for myself only. When it involves someone else, I usually hold myself back a bit. Including starting my own blog. Since it will affect many people who read it, I felt like I had so many things to contemplate about—what am I gonna write and the ‘weight’ of it. I’m the type of person who likes to be given compliment only if I could impress at least one affecting person such as my boss or lecturer. But then I decided not to care about what people are gonna say and just start it out, only to satisfying my needs. At least I do it for my own good too. I had this revelation when my playlist playing The Scene Aesthetic’s song which called “Why Don’t We Try” and it inspired me. I’ll never know what lies ahead, but I’ve just got to try.
So here are some of my first pictures I took to show you my best dress ! I like the shade of green, the pockets, and the hood. I feel a bit uncomfortable with the length since I’m raised to wear at least a knee-length outfit, but tights or stockings, even denim pants would help.
